The objective of the Department of Africa and Francophonie is to strengthen practical French education and to create French language professionals.
In this process, we provide professional knowledge that includes the social interactions, language, and culture of the Francophonie that originates in Africa.
To achieve this goal, we have our students learn useful professional knowledge that will help them advance into African Francophonie through overarching cultural and regional studies. In this process, we cultivate practical and applicable French language skills through diverse practical French courses, including translation subjects.
Through this twofold curriculum, our department’s ultimate educational objective is to cultivate professional translators that can contribute to the cultural exchange between worldwide Francophonie and South Korea. Furthermore, it is our goal to create talented individuals that have the professional knowledge and linguistic capacity to enter into worldwide Francophonie.
