Social Welfare is a practical academic discipline that fosters citizens who lead a dignified human life and a better civic community, while creating a blueprint for policy and organizing citizens for change. In other words, social welfare is a form of civic literacy education through which citizens can understand and improve themselves and their communities.
The Graduate School of Social Welfare aims to cultivate educational experts who can teach civic literacy. Furthermore, it aims to cultivate the education of local community experts who can organize citizens through education. In this respect, the Graduate School of Social Welfare aims to become a plaza of learning, communication, and imagination for educational organization experts who train and organize citizens to be able to change regions, villages, laws, and systems.
