The Department of Chinese Language and Literature aims to foster talented China experts who meet the needs of the times by cultivating Chinese conversation skills and advanced reading skills and by systematically disseminating knowledge about China, including Chinese characters, literature, society, and culture. By teaching basic Chinese conversation skills and advanced reading and listening skills, we train professionals on how to understand and use information and documents related to China.
By teaching Chinese sentences and viewing various works, we help students deeply understand Chinese literature and contribute to the inheritance and development of our national tradition by deciphering our ancient literature.
By studying China's history, philosophy, society, and culture as a whole, we cultivate a balanced knowledge and a sophisticated and wide-ranging understanding of China's status and the significance of Chinese culture in the era of globalization.
