Agriculture is an industry that protects life and environment. Humans have lived in nature through agriculture, and the unique culture of each country has been formed based on its agriculture and farming villages.
The importance of agriculture cannot be overemphasized, although today, the perception of agriculture has changed somewhat through industrialization and urbanization. Agriculture must continue in this world and be actively protected for security and environmental reasons. Against this backdrop, the Department of Agricultural Science was founded at the same time as the university.
Our department aims to cultivate scientific and creative farmers by teaching advanced technology and expertise, proper understanding of agriculture, and love for farming villages, respect for farmers; expanding understanding of nature; and encouraging urban residents to live in farming villages.
